ANOTHER ALL ORIGINAL STABLE MATE!
GS788 Has A New Home!

We've got another all original Corvette to keep the '78 Company! This one is a 1996 Grand Sport Corvette and has 9400 miles on it. It's blue paint, white stripe and red hash marks are paying tribute to the five original Grand Sport racing cars built in secret by Zora Arkus Duntov in 1963. There were only 1000 made, and this is #788. It is one of 810 coupes, one of 217 coupes with the red interior, and it is 1 of only 17 with the same set of options. It has the 330 hp LT-4 engine with a 6-speed trans.

For more info about the 1996 GS, as well as the '63 Grand Sports, check out the Grand Sport Registry!

A NEW VETTE IN THE STABLE!
But this is no race car

We have acquired a new stable mate for our other Vettes. It is a 1978 Coupe. It has only 13,664 miles on it, and is 99% original. It has had only one owner, and I am the second person to ever drive it! It has never been in the rain, and has never even been washed!. We are going to head the Bloomington Gold Corvette show in June, and see if we can bring home one, or a couple certificates. We'll see!

IS THAT A BIG BLOCK?!

We have new plans for the ‘61!

Check back for the full story and a lot more pictures coming soon!

A FEW "NEW" OLD PICS OF THE '61!

My dad's old friend Kevin Dunn sent me some pictures of my dad's car. The one to the left is at Dover.

Click on it to see the rest in the "Photo Gallery".

Thanks Kevin!

THE C5

I have decided that I want to try to go 200 mph before I am too old and become afraid to go 200 mph. Therefore, we are completely rebuilding the C5 and turning it into a NSCA Super Street/Outlaw 10.5 car. The engine is a 427 c.i. small block Chevy built with a CN Blocks Billet Block, Alan Johnson Billet heads, a Kobelco 10-71 high helix blower and of course a Moroso 5-Stage Dry Sump Oiling System.

The car is coming along. The chassis, exhaust and dry-sump system are all done. We are working on the fuel system, and still have to do most of the interior sheet metal and finishing, wiring, plumbing, windshield, spoiler, fire system, and general reassembly. Also dyno the engine for the baseline tune, and learn how to drive again.

Check out all the specs in "About The Cars". Click on the link below, or the picture to the left for more updated pictures of the chassis and engine.

THE '68

This is an ongoing project that gets worked on now and again. It is slowly making progress. It is a flare fendered 1968 Removable Hardtop Corvette set up for road racing. The car was completely disassembled, and is going back together as a bad-ass street race car complete with an LS7, a 6-speed trans, 18 inch wheels, 14 inch brakes, a custom built interior etc... Right now the chassis is done, and the body work will start soon.

Check out the specs on the '68 in "About The Car", and follow the build in the "Photo Gallery".
